FAQ

Answers for property teams reviewing Enviro-D

What is Enviro-D?

Enviro-D helps Australian property teams screen sites earlier, review environmental and planning context, save searches and create report evidence packs for due diligence discussions.

Who is Enviro-D built for?

Enviro-D is built for property developers, environmental consultants, planners, architects, conveyancers, lawyers, buyers agents, portfolio owners and other teams that need a faster first screen before committing to deeper advice or investigation.

Is Enviro-D a replacement for professional advice?

No. Enviro-D is a screening and evidence tool. It helps you ask better questions, keep a clearer record and decide when specialist advice is needed. It does not replace advice from qualified professionals.

What can I use Enviro-D to check?

You can use Enviro-D to review available map sections, site boundaries, nearby environmental and property context, saved searches and report outputs for a property or portfolio.

Can I search for a site by address?

Yes. You can start with an Australian address, a pasted address string or other supported site references, then review the best available match on the map.

Can I select a property parcel instead of drawing a site?

Yes, where parcel data is available. You can select one or more parcels and use that area as the basis for a saved search and report review.

Can Enviro-D handle more than one parcel at a time?

Yes. Where supported, you can combine multiple parcels into one review area. This is useful for larger acquisitions, staged developments and portfolio-style site checks.

What is a saved search?

A saved search keeps the site boundary, map context and report history together so you can return to the same review later or share the work with your team.

What are map sections?

Map sections group the available data layers into practical review areas. The sections shown to your team can change as Enviro-D adds or configures datasets.

What does the information panel show?

The information panel shows matching results for the selected site and map section. It can include feature details, table views and download options where those are available.

Can I download map evidence?

Yes. Enviro-D supports map image downloads and supporting data downloads where available, so teams can keep evidence with their internal notes, advice requests or client files.

Can I create a report from a saved search?

Yes. Reports are generated from saved searches and help turn a site review into a clearer evidence pack for discussion, handover or record keeping.

What is included in a report?

A report can include the selected site, relevant map context, selected sections and supporting evidence available for that review. The exact output depends on the site and configured report template.

Can I share or download reports?

Yes. Enviro-D includes report sharing and download workflows so teams can keep a record of what was reviewed and circulate findings to the right people.

Can my team work together in Enviro-D?

Yes. Team workspaces help organisations keep searches, reports, portfolios and activity in one shared place rather than scattered across individual accounts.

What can team owners see?

Team owners can use the dashboard to review recent searches, reports, locations and team activity, making it easier to understand what work has already been done.

Do I need GIS experience to use Enviro-D?

No. Enviro-D is designed for property due diligence workflows. The map, search, saved-site and reporting tools are built so non-GIS users can review sites without specialist mapping software.

How current is the data?

Enviro-D uses available source datasets and should be treated as an early screening view. Dataset coverage, update timing and accuracy can vary, so important decisions should be checked against source records and professional advice.

Is my organisation's work private?

Team workspaces are designed to keep your organisation's searches, reports and activity inside your account. Access is managed through account and team permissions.
