Quick start: screen a site
Follow the basic Enviro-D workflow: select a site, save it, review configured sections and generate a report.
This quick start takes you through the common Enviro-D workflow.
1. Open Site Selection
After signing in, open Site Selection from the workspace navigation.
Team users may also see a team Dashboard first. Personal users are taken straight to the site-selection workspace.
2. Find the site
Use the address search at the top of the map. When you select an address, Enviro-D moves the map to that location and tries to match the point to a cadastre parcel where cadastre data is available.
If the address is not enough, you can also:
- click a point on the map;
- switch on cadastre selection and choose one or more parcels;
- draw a polygon, rectangle, freehand area, line or circle;
- upload supported site files from a team account, where that workflow is available.
3. Confirm and save the site
For cadastre and drawn sites, Enviro-D asks you to review the selected area and give the site a name. Save the search so you can return to the same site later.
Saved searches appear under Searches. Team accounts can also organise searches into portfolios.
4. Review the map
Use the map controls to change the basemap, toggle topographic or terrain views where available, and inspect any configured map section that is available for the saved site.
Site Selection itself is open for selecting and saving a site. When an assessment section is available, use the information panel to review exact results, source attributes, distances and download options where available.
5. Review the sections you need
Open the saved search and review the configured sections required for your review or report. The available list can include property setting, environmental setting, regulated-site and other due-diligence sections depending on the live catalogue and template.
Oversized or unusual sites may require the Enviro-D team to assist.
6. Generate a report
From the saved search, choose Generate Report. Select a report template, review the required sections, and confirm generation.
Report output is created asynchronously. While it is processing, the report page may show a pending or processing state. When the PDF is ready, you can view it, download it or copy a share link.
