Quick Start Guide
Get started with Enviro-D in minutes. Learn how to search properties, explore environmental data, and generate your first report.
This guide will help you get up and running with Enviro-D in just a few minutes.
Step 1: Create Your Account
- Visit enviro-d.com.au and click Get Started
- Sign up using your email address or Google account
- Verify your email if required
- You'll be taken to your workspace dashboard
Step 2: Search for a Property
Once in your workspace:
- Click on Map in the sidebar navigation
- Use the search bar to enter an Australian address
- As you type, address suggestions will appear
- Select the correct address from the dropdown
- The map will zoom to the property location
Step 3: Explore the Map
With a property selected, you can:
- View property boundaries - The cadastral boundary is highlighted on the map
- Switch base maps - Toggle between street, satellite, and topographic views using the layer controls
- Enable risk layers - Turn on environmental overlays to see flood zones, bushfire areas, and more
- Pan and zoom - Navigate around the area to understand the broader context
Step 4: Understand the Risk Indicators
The property panel displays key risk indicators:
| Indicator | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Flood Risk | Property intersects with flood-related planning overlays |
| Bushfire Risk | Property is within a Bushfire Prone Area or BMO |
| Contamination | Nearby EPA Priority Sites or Environmental Audit Overlays |
| Heritage | Heritage Register places or significance overlays |
Step 5: Generate a Report
When you're ready for a detailed assessment:
- Click Generate Report in the property panel
- Select your report tier (Standard, Professional, or Full Access)
- Confirm your credit usage
- Your report will be generated and available for download
Step 6: Access Your Reports
All generated reports are saved to your account:
- Navigate to Reports in the sidebar
- View, download, or share any previously generated report
- Reports include a shareable link for stakeholders
