Learn how to share Enviro-D reports with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Enviro-D reports are designed to be easily shared with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. This guide covers the various sharing options.
Sharing Options
PDF Download
Download the complete report as a professional PDF:
- Navigate to Reports in your workspace
- Select the report you want to download
- Click Download PDF
- Save to your device
- Share via email, messaging, or file sharing
Best for:
- Email attachments
- Including in formal documentation
- Offline access
- Printing
Shareable Link
Generate a unique URL that provides read-only access to the report:
- Open the report details
- Click Copy Link or Share
- The link is copied to your clipboard
- Share via email, message, or document
Best for:
- Quick sharing without attachments
- Real-time access to current report
- Including in proposals or presentations
- Mobile-friendly viewing
QR Code
Each report includes a QR code:
- Open the PDF report
- The QR code appears on the cover page
- Scanning the code opens the online version
- Print and include in physical documents
Best for:
- Printed reports that need online access
- Property inspections with mobile access
- Including in marketing materials
Access Controls
Read-Only Access
Shared reports provide read-only access:
- Recipients can view the full report
- Recipients can download the PDF
- Recipients cannot edit or modify
- Recipients cannot generate new reports
- No account required to view
Link Expiry
Shareable links:
- Do not expire by default
- Remain active as long as your account is active
- Can be deactivated if needed
Deactivating Links
To stop sharing a report:
- Navigate to Reports
- Select the report
- Click Manage Sharing
- Toggle Shareable Link off
- The link immediately stops working
Sharing with Team Members
Team Workspaces
Within a team workspace:
- All team members can view team reports
- Reports generated by any team member are accessible
- Team credits can be used by any member
- Activity is logged for audit purposes
Access Levels
Team members have different access based on their role:

In Documents
Include report links in:
- Word documents and proposals
- PowerPoint presentations
- Client advice letters
- Contract documentation
In Websites
The shareable link can be embedded as:
- A hyperlink
- An iframe (for web integration)
- A QR code image
Best Practices
For Clients
When sharing with clients:
- Include context about what the report shows
- Explain the risk indicators
- Highlight any areas requiring attention
- Recommend next steps if warranted
- Provide your contact for questions
For Colleagues
When sharing internally:
- Note why the report is relevant
- Flag any urgent issues
- Assign follow-up actions if needed
- Use team workspace for ongoing collaboration
For Legal/Compliance
When using reports for formal purposes:
- Download the PDF for permanent records
- Note the generation date
- Include with transaction documentation
- Retain copies as required
Report Attribution
All shared reports include:
- Generated By - Account that created the report
- Generation Date - When the report was created
- Enviro-D Branding - Clear source attribution
- Disclaimer - Standard limitations
Privacy Considerations
What's Visible
Shared report recipients can see:
- Complete report content
- Property address and details
- All environmental analysis
- Maps and supporting information
What's Protected
Recipients cannot see:
- Your account details
- Your other reports
- Your saved searches
- Your credit balance
- Your team members
Sensitive Properties
For sensitive or confidential properties:
- Consider who receives the link
- Use PDF downloads for controlled distribution
- Deactivate links after use if needed
- Be aware that links can be forwarded
Tracking
Currently, Enviro-D does not track:
- Who accessed a shared report
- How many times a report was viewed
- When a report was last accessed
This may be added in future updates.
