Generate a report

Create an Enviro-D report from a saved search using templates and configured sections.

Reports are generated from saved searches.

Before you generate a report, make sure the saved search uses the right site boundary and has the sections needed for the review.

Before you start

You need:

  • an Enviro-D account;
  • a saved search;
  • the right sections available for the report you want to create.
  1. Open Searches.
  2. Find the saved search.
  3. Choose Generate Report.
  4. Select a report template.
  5. Review the sections required by the template.
  6. Confirm generation.

The dialog can show template availability, included sections and any sections that need attention before generation.

What happens next

Report output is created asynchronously. The report may appear with a pending or processing status while maps, data and PDF output are prepared.

When output is ready, the report detail page shows the PDF preview and report actions. If generation fails or needs to be rerun, use the regeneration action where available.

Generation time

Generation time varies by site size, selected sections, template and worker availability. Do not rely on a fixed time estimate for transaction deadlines.

If a report is still processing after a reasonable wait, refresh the report page. If it remains stuck, contact the Enviro-D team with the report ID or saved search details.

Avoid duplicate reports

Do not create repeated duplicate reports unless you need separate evidence records.

What not to assume

A generated report does not certify that land is free from risk. It records the site, available data and generated output for review. Professional judgement is still required.
