Saving Searches

Learn how to save property searches for future reference and team collaboration in Enviro-D.

Enviro-D allows you to save property searches for future reference, making it easy to revisit properties and share insights with your team.

Why Save Searches?

Saved searches help you:

  • Track properties of interest - Build a watchlist of potential acquisitions
  • Maintain client records - Associate searches with specific clients or projects
  • Collaborate with team members - Share property insights across your organisation
  • Quick access to reports - Easily generate reports from saved searches

After searching for a property:

  1. The property panel displays address and risk indicators
  2. Click the Save button (bookmark icon)
  3. Optionally add notes or tags to the search
  4. The search is saved to your workspace

Managing Saved Searches

Access your saved searches from the Searches section in the sidebar:

Search List

Your saved searches display:

  • Property address
  • Date saved
  • Risk indicator summary
  • Any notes or tags you've added
  • Report status (if a report has been generated)

Actions

For each saved search, you can:

  • View on map - Return to the property on the interactive map
  • Generate report - Create a new environmental report
  • Add notes - Update your observations
  • Delete - Remove from your saved list

Team Workspaces

If you're on a team account, saved searches can be shared:

Personal vs Team Searches

  • Personal searches - Only visible to you
  • Team searches - Visible to all team members with workspace access

Collaboration Features

Team members can:

  • View searches saved by other team members
  • Add comments and observations
  • Generate reports using team credits
  • Track which team member saved each search

Organising with Tags

Use tags to categorise your searches:

  • By client - "Smith Family", "ABC Developments"
  • By project - "Port Melbourne Sites", "2025 Acquisitions"
  • By status - "Under offer", "Settled", "Passed"
  • By priority - "High priority", "Follow up"

Filter your search list by tags to quickly find relevant properties.

Search History

Even without explicitly saving, Enviro-D maintains a history of your recent searches:

  • Last 50 searches are automatically retained
  • Access from Recent Searches in the map panel
  • Click to instantly return to any recent property

Best Practices

  1. Save immediately when you find a property of interest
  2. Add context with notes about why you saved it
  3. Use consistent tags across your team for easy filtering
  4. Review regularly and remove outdated searches
  5. Generate reports early before property transactions progress
